Bridge of San Pedro - Bridge of Cuatro Vientos
This section of the Arga once again approaches the foot of the Historical Quarter, parallel to Paseo de Ronda, from which one of the most beautiful views of the city can be admired.
LEGEND
HITOS
Built in 1990 by the engineer Javier Manterola, 2005 Prince of Viana award winner. The bridge was designed to replace the old Bridge of San Pedro to communicate the Rochapea and Magdalena districts, jointly referred to as El Vergel. The continual development of this part of Pamplona meant that the old Bridge of San Pedro was unable to cater for the growing number of vehicles. It was not wide enough for two cars to pass at the same time and was controlled by traffic lights.
